Originally from the USA and France, The Boston Shakers, electronic rock rap festival band, is now based in the UK. The band started when six friends with the same passion for music and drinks decided to blend the musical genres they had been listening and playing for years with the night-life atmosphere and environment they were working in as bartenders.
The resulting songs combine the different ingredients and sounds that have influenced the members of the Shakers band, from the authenticity of Blues and the rawness of British Rock to the samples, drums, and production techniques of Hip-Hop and Dance music.
Radio Station Play: The latest demo, released a few weeks ago, has already been played multiple times on BBC Introducing. Many other radio stations across the UK, USA, Europe and Australia are also playing the song. The Boston Shakers are now in the final stage of writing their first album.
First Album. With big MPC beats, wailing guitars and captivating raps served “on the rocks”, the band is a cocktail of good vibrations you won’t get enough of. Their very unique music style is already attracting a big following across all social media.

They have performed at several shows across the UK, including UV Night, several festivals and supports slots for bigger touring artistes. “An infusion of heavy beats mixed with fuzzy guitars, shaken with raps and garnished with a dash of white noise.”
The smallest ensemble that is commonly used in rock music is the trio format. In a hard rock or blues-rock band, or heavy metal rock group, a “power trio” format is often used, which consists of an electric guitar player, an electric bass guitar player and a drummer, and typically one or more of these musicians also sing (sometimes all three members will sing, e.g. Bee Gees or Alkaline Trio).
Some well-known power trios with the guitarist on lead vocals are The Jimi Hendrix Experience, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble, Nirvana, Violent Femmes, Gov’t Mule, The Minutemen, Triumph, Shellac, Sublime, Chevelle, Muse, The Jam, Short Stack, and ZZ Top.
